hi all, has anyone experience with the IR codes transmitted by the remote controler. As far as I know, these codes are normal direct commands, which you also send from your PC, using the standard IR tower. The documentation on this issue is not very (...)   NQC 2.3 r1 for Win32 W/ USB Support
 
Just so everyone knows, I threw together a compiled version of NQC 2.3 r1 for USB on Win32 last nite, it works. (...) I forget exactly how I measured this. I think maybe I hooked a scope directly to the LEDs then sent a constant stream of something to the tower and looked at the waveform on the scope. hi Kekoa, thanks for your answer, About the strange stop bit, I was wrong (John Barnes also mailed me about that, thanks John) it was indeed the parity bit. About the startbit (which is inverted to the data) I'm (almost) absolutly sure, I measured (...) (23 years ago, 6-Nov-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

1. I am only using Robolab 2.5 to drive Control Lab. Prior to 2.5 I was using Robolab 2.0 with the free Lego Engineer software to drive the interface. The 2.5 release removes the need for Lego Engineer. In fact I am now getting errors with Lego (...) (23 years ago, 14-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab, lugnet.dacta)

I've written a firmware downloader that runs on a Psion 5mx (and probably an older 5, but I haven't tested it). Hey, I have the same question! I've been driving myself crazy for the last few days trying to find some information on the subject. Hi all, I want to make a program on my laptop so that I can use it (the laptop that is) as a remote control to give orders to my Mindstorm robot, just simple things like turn left/right etc. I'm going to use Java on my laptop, Lejos on the RCX and (...) I've just got V0.2.2 working, after at least a year of not having had time to play with it! I just wanted to say WOW :) It's come a long way, and I can't wait to start tinkering with it again!
