(...) You can change the batteries on any RCX (not plugged in) without losing programming. Just make sure it is turned off and change one battery at a time, so that it never loses power for more than a few seconds (maybe you also have to disconnect (...) (...) Yes and Yes *1 Do it all the time. The 9v transformer that comes with LEGO 9V Trains is perfect for plugging into the RCX. I also have had an RCX plugged in for about a year and a half with batteries inside to boot (*not* officially (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

The 9709 RCX Programmable Brick is sold out on LEGO.com but I know that the LEGO Outlet store in Dawsonville Georgia still have a bunch, and for the same price. (...) You can get one or two signals per second. I tested it with the knight rider test tool from the same Elektuur project and with the 4 digit led display. Hi Jan, I tested it and it's veeeeery slooo...oooww. Elektuur writes that the interface could be an extention of the RCX for more sensors you may use for your roboter. The software is written for NQC and uses some sensor functions to realize the i2c (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
