Developing our inverted pendulum project we tested today the power of the vehicle which we designed for the purpose. Thanks for the information. We started with the mathematical approach, but this seems to be extremely complex and not too useful for a reliable design with LEGO-Technic and the RCX. (...) fuzzy-logic? Apparantly a teacher did the inverted pendulum with the gear racks as tracks at the summer workshop in Maine that the media lab always does, but i never actually saw the solution.
