  Does my RCX work?

Hello all. I know almost nothing about LEGO robotics, but my mom picked up an RCX 1.0 brick at a yard sale. I just have the brick - no accessories, no software. Before I go buying stuff to go with it, is there any way to tell if this thing even (...) (18 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx, FTX)

  Re: rebeco

I have to say I really like the ideas in this. Having seen Jason Railton's automation recently and having been considereing technic solutions for train things any overlap of the two is good in my book. Just one thing tho, the video of the (...)   rebeco

hi i finished this moc two months ago but i had some problems to post messages to lugnet. It is called "Rebeco", which means "REBocador E COmutador". Those are portuguese words for the main functions it has. It is very compact, has a size not much (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  NQC/MacNQC running on MacBookPro (intel) with a serial tower ?

Hello, I currently own two Mindstorms 2.0 sets. I'm wondering buying a SERIAL/USB adapter for connecting a Serial IR Tower to a MacBook Pro (intel processor) under MacOS X. Do you think NQC/MacNQC will work fine, detect the IR Tower and the RCX, (...) (18 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: robolab 2.9

(...) Only two questions today... 1) Does 2.9 require an earlier version of Robolab? 2) Will 2.9 work with the 9753 Control Center? TNX * 10**6 Joseph (18 years ago, 4-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  robolab 2.9

LEGO just announced Robolab 2.9: (URL) last version of ROBOLAB is designed to support RCX users and east the transition to the NXT system. This upgrade enables you to program the NXT brick with ROBOLAB. In addition, ROBOLAB 2.9 features new firmware (...) (18 years ago, 2-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: Robo Soccer From Convict

(...) Dear Robo Soccer Fans, I've ordered the IR serial tower and the card for the laptop to accept the tower. After three years it will be a great thrill to see the communications. (URL) (18 years ago, 1-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: Robo Soccer From Convict

(...) Dear Claude, I cannot thank you enough for your support. I posted this to Lugnet in hopes there was another who could help me. Would you not know that the serial tower vs USB tower was a question I had? I will get a serial tower and continue. (...) (19 years ago, 28-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: Robo Soccer From Convict

(...) Hi Tom, You selected one of our hardest ROBOLAB projects. The journal shows you many things, but perhaps is not explicit enough to help you through what you intend to do with it. However note that the Soccer communication only works with the (...) (19 years ago, 28-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Robo Soccer From Convict

I am working on learning RoboLab by making this program work. (URL) then GPS7.vi & LEGO_Soccer.lib then SOCCER5.VI WHAT HAPPENS: 1. SOCCER5.VI downloads into the RCX several tasks and subs. 2. Once running GPS7.vi it does not seem to send (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: communication between NXT and RCX!?

(...) The NXT has a new sensor control bus. That allows many ways to interact almost anything you want. From Hear-say i have heared that HiTechnics is building an NXT - IR converter in the size of a NXT sensor..   Java on the NXT

I got lucky and now have a NXT on my desk, thanks to the MDP. Now is a good time to make suggestions for the API of the NXT lejos. Roger Glassey (19 years ago, 8-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

  Power down time

In The administrator section you can set the power down time - the time that the RCX will stay on, unattended. The range is 0-255 with 0 meaning always on, and the rest in minutes. No matter what time I choose, I can't make this work all the time. (...) (19 years ago, 16-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: Brickos c++ threads problem

  Re: Brickos c++ threads problem

(...) Danny, I've not used C++, but I have seen problems like this. For me, it happened when the firmware in my brick didn't match the firmware I compiled the program to use. However, it doesn't sound like that's the problem your having. I'd suggest (...) (19 years ago, 13-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Brickos c++ threads problem
