(...) I've used the Train Transformers with great success. If you look close at your RCX you'll notice 9-12~ Anything from 9 to 12 volts AC or DC will work fine. (...) Well on the back of the LEGO train power supply it list Output as 12VAC 7VA, so I'm assuming that the DC conversion is done in the speed regulator, I couldn't tell you why. (...) true - but I think the RCX input is rated 9-12V. I don't have a train transformer here, but wouldn't it be outputing 12VDC? Can't imagine why they'd put a AC to DC converter in the regulator... EmuLegOs now supports LegOS 0.2.4 API Those who have been on the list for awhile may remember the LegOS emulator EmuLegOs, which lets you run and debug your LegOS programs on your PC.
