(...) asm statements are just followed by a comma-separated list of fields enclosed in braces. In general, each field is evaluated at compile time and the resulting value is truncated to 8 bits. It is amazing this was mentioned just now. I just started reading chapter 6:pbForth of Knudsen's book with the hopes of learning to use my Palm to interact with the RCX. I don't know Forth at all. (...) This is by Neal Bridges, another backwards Canadian!!!! I use Quartus on my Palm, and it's really cool. I've been wandering through the kernal comparing it to similar kernals I have known or written, trying to understand the design choices.
