Re: Mindstorms RIS 1.5 (9747) price?

My sense is that future versions (say in time for Christmas) will have new firmware, but the new firmware will also be available to current users. I'd say you got a good deal. At DM 109, even the Droid kit is a good deal, not even counting the (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Mindstorms RIS 1.5 (9747) price?

Hi. Is this set gonna be replaced in the near future? I just picked up two sets for DM 199 (about USD 100) each here in Germany. All other stores I called today asked between 399 and 449. The Droid Dev kit sold for DM 109 in that store. Frank (24 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Maybe not exactly Lego, but..... Has anyone any thoughts about using the IR Tower to communicate with a Laptop's built in IR transceiver? Maybe set it up using Direct Cable Connection?? If I should ask this elsewhere, please put me straight :) (25 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: LNP problems detected

Who is maintaining the LNP code right now? Not the stuff in the kernel, but the desktop tools? It'd be great if we could wrap that up into a package and put the source into CVS.   Re: Robolab 2.0

I had the same problem with a single-user copy ordered in the UK. The Dacta catalogue had the wrong part number in it for RoboLab 2.0. It said it was part # 2000050, but it should have been 2000051.
