I have recently begun using the Handyboard with the non-commercial version of IC. My PC runs Windows ME. I was unable to get IC to communicate with the HB until I booted the PC in safe mode. Hey Chris... I have made my final-year project as an "Intelligent Fire-Fighting Mobile Robot". (...) Edgar, Some times I have the same problem getting into bootstrap mode. Usually if I charge the board for a while it will go away or sometimes pressing lightly on the LCD screen while turning the board on will help. This may not be a good sign (...) This will probably bounce to the Handyboard list but here goes ... (...) The way the default LCD program is written is non-optimal. Hi Scott, the handyboard part-list says that this LEDs are from the HLMP17xx series. These LEDs are low-current LEDs and only need 2 mA current at (1.8V) 1.9V forward voltage. I believe I've determined the problem. It looks like pilot error. Upon closer inspection of the serial LED, I noticed that it was defintely backwards in comparison to the power LED.
