Yes, it can be used to control a drill motor, but probably not directly. It can drive 9V motors at 1 AMP (i think, depending on which h-bridge chips you have). Rob, a few Q's: 1. Can you verify that +9v is being applied to the sensor by transistor Q2. Measure the voltage at the collector, you should see a pulsed waveform (rectangular wave) with +9v on's and 0v off's. (Refer to (URL) What is the (...)
