Just wondering... in reference to the modification on the Polaroid 6500 sonar ranging board, there's been two different assertions. Should the 0.1uF cap be of a polarized (e.g. electrolytic, tant, etc.) or non-polarized variety (as stated below)?... (...) (25 years ago, 17-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hi, I would like to use step motors in my robot and have had success using the MC3479 stepper motor IC, it is simple to use, just needs a direction bit and a pulse, but I really don't know how to program my hb to do this. Hi I'm using the L297/L298 chip configuration to run 4-phase unipolar stepper motors. I got my assembled & tested expansion board via air mail from Patrick Hui of the Robot Store, HK ((URL) fairly quickly, and at an excellent price. Hello, I am currently using speed.icb/shaft.c (IC v3.2 library files) to count clicks on optical encoders for my two drive wheels using the Pulse accumulator and the IC3 interrupt. Hi Finaaly got my exp board working and now yet another problem. When checking sensors every 4 secs or so I always get 255.
