(...) why does the 512 bytes matter? the HB has 32K of external ram. i guess if you're planning to do rom-able code development then i understand. there's very little difference between the e and a series. the port A counter/timer pins are slightly (...) Hi! (...) Hi Steve! I've put my hb to work yesterday, but I think I can help you a bit. The "FN" means the chip has "plcc" package, while the "P" would mean it's DIP package. Steve - - - As a HandyBoard *old timer* (I've had mine for almost two months) I've found that the best source of 68HC11 info is Motorola. Their documentation is *free*. I am new at this but if there are four motor ports then why is there three connectors for each? Dear Handy Board Enthusiasts: I'm new to the Handy Board (stumbled over it about two weeks ago). I understand that there are many types of 68HC11 chips--e.g., 68HC11A1FN, 68HC11A8, 68HC11 E series, and so on. I know that the 'A1FN is used in the (...) Fred, I too am having trouble with parsing of the expansion libraries. I just downloaded your new versions: lib_hb.c 2/2/99 8:15 AM hbsensor.c 2/2/99 8:20 AM Error message as follows: Synchronizing with board Pcode version 3.10 present on board (...)
