I got around to changing to the new driver and hardware configuration last night. Afterwards, I found that the sonar was returning negative distances periodically. Has anybody had any experience with the Micro 8SS27 dual hall effect sensor? I cant seem to get even the slightest response out of it! I don't really see the problem Randy as long as you remember to power cycle the board after every ping (pain in the butt) but until you get the TL851 that will have to do! I picked up a MiniSC servo controller to experiment with. It is driven via serial however. I saw in the FAQ that it is possible to use the Handy Boards serial port, but I don't want to have to download a program to the HB, disconnect the phone jack, (...)
