Howdy- I was wondering about the DS1233 EconoReset thingy- what would happen if it wasn't there and reset was just tied high or through a RC delay to high? Anyone know where to get a hold of one 6811 microprocessor for around $10? Everything I've seen sofar either wants you to buy in bulk (you have to buy 23 @ $7.11 from Motorolla) or almost $20 for 1 chip. This stinks! Any info would be appreciated. (...) (...) Are you holding down the STOP button? With the board powered on, read the voltage at pin 3 of the 6811. When pressing the STOP button, pin 3 should read between zero volts and 0.6v. Hello, I'm at a loss for what will take to get either of the two boards into DL mode. The board has nothing plugged into it; the BATT and PWR LEDs flash on and then PWR remains on so I can not confirm the synptoms of the ds1233(U12) voltage monitor (...) Or, you could take an old computer board and desolder some components from it, and re-solder them in. Just get in there and do it. You know (...)
