| Fred, I get a bunch of bounce-back messages when I post to this mailing list. Apparently many of the addresses have gone bad. It doesn't really matter, I just delete them, but how does one, as a mailing-list administrator, deal with address (...) (28 years ago, 29-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| | | | Re: Is 18V correct?
| this is correct. normal dc adapters are unregulated and there is a reciprocal relation between voltage and current. when you just plug it in and and measure voltage, current is 0 and hence voltage is higher than the spec. if you draw the rated 500 (...) | (...) What exactly did you load? was it a .lis file? (It should be) I use the RugWarrior myself, and use handyboard routines as well on it. So please first tell me more. Hans (28 years ago, 29-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
| | | | Is 18V correct?
| Oh, you hardware guys must really hate us software guys but... I just purchased a volt meter, I had used on in college a long time ago, so I placed the voltmeter across the AC adapter and it read 18.0, I'm guessing this is 18 volts, but I could be (...) | (...) [snip] (...) Well, you say that, but you got this far, didn't you? port_a should be 0x1000, port_d should be 0x1008, declared as int. These are the hardware addresses of those ports on the HC11. Did you get a copy of all the Handyboard (...) (28 years ago, 28-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

| I have entered all the rug warrior program and have got it all debugged of all but two errors. By debugged I mean I have found all the mistakes that I made when entering it and got all but two error messages to go away when I attempt to load it into (...) | | | | Re: High power motor drivers
| Keith Check the HB home page. Fred posted my info for a H-bridge that will handle two 12V-55V motors at 3A each. I know it's not exactly a custom bridge, but you can make the PCB from scratch. The LMD18200 from National makes this really easy. (...) (28 years ago, 28-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
