  Re: Poloroid interface

(...) I'm currious. How would one go about connecting the "external" battery to the Ranger. For a 5V "high" to be seen by the INIT input, you would have to have a closed loop, right? (28 years ago, 12-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Poloroid interface

(...) I found a number of good files here. We do need to sort them out though. We had a mish-mash of either incompletes or code for other boards. It looks like we'll be able to get it sorted out. By the way, we kept thinking IR sensors were cheapo, (...) (28 years ago, 12-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Poloroid interface

You can interface the Ranger to the HB directly without any problem. Look at the software contributions on the HB home Page undre ther directory of 'kent'. Here you will find the IC aND assembler programs that will allow you to do this. You will (...) (28 years ago, 11-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Poloroid interface

I'm forwarding this to our team member that has most of the documentation at the moment. We tested our Polaroids with an O-scope, we have some code we found that has handyboard send out and receive a ping, and a lot of the available HB docs. So we (...)   Poloroid interface

What is the easyest way to interface a Poloroid ranging board to the handyboard? I know that the expansion board is supposed to have this feature built right in but I can't wait to get it. I also want to know if there are any software drivers (...) (28 years ago, 11-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Digital outputs

I need to create digital outputs and expand the number of digital inputs on my handyboard. I know that if you take the data lines and latch them using one of the outputs from the '138 you can accomplish this but I would like to see a schematic (...) I don't have the exacct address with me since I am at home for break, but the last time that I visited the 6811 page on motorolla's site, they have the pink book available free in PDF format.   Re: pink book

See the Handy Board Technical Documents page, linked off of the main page. It's the MC68hc11 reference manual. It's no longer free, but it's really inexpensive (like $2.50 per copy). This is a 200+ page book, extensive, in depth, and well written. (...) (28 years ago, 10-Jan-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  RE: Interfacing HB to PIC
