RE: How many people signed up for the NXT Developer's Program?

(...) That is definitely the important question. I have been programming for more than 20 years with many languages and each has its own advantages (ease of development, speed, ease of maintenance, and so on); turning down some language is usually (...) Hello Trevyn, (...) That's the Hitachi H-8 Microcontroller. It is merely silk-screened with the Lego logo, they had nothing at all to do with it's development. (21 years ago, 15-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: mindstorms NXT

(...) I completely disagree. Their is no need for studs on the NXT. It's sleek, and modern the way it is. I don't think I've ever used the studs on the RCX for a moc. I love the I-pod styling. And the components should have studs. (...) Lego could (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Re: What I think should happen to Mindstorms.

I really think the Pneumatic/RCX tie in set would be good - with all existing parts, items in the constructopedia on building Switches which can be motorized with Lego, a nice number of tanks, cylinders and valves and a simple old Light and Sound (...)   RE: CD auto feeder project

One thread of this discussion went down the suction cup path for getting a CD off a stack. What of non-suction-cup alternatives that could be built from pure LEGO?
