Too bad the sensor doen't have enough output to directly drive the RCX
input. Is the 5V regulator really necessary for the pyrolectric sensor to
work? It looks like it has a fairly broad operating voltage spec. 5-15VDC.

| (...) Maybe it can run without an analog interface, and maybe it can run without a voltage regulator, but I don't know because I haven't tried it nor do I have the electronics background to know any better. Maybe somebody else can say from the (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| I have recently made the interface to connect the Eltec 442-3 pyroelectric sensor, using Michael Gasperi's analog interface as a reference (thanks Michael), although some minor modifications need to be made. The pyroelectric sensor works very well, (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)
