(...) It depends on your hardware. Are you running your OS on IA32/x86 hardware? If so, then you can use the NXT with your OS using some of my utilities. See this NXTASY thread for details about running NBC and NeXTTool under Ubuntu with built-in (...) (17 years ago, 5-May-08, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Yes, the GPS communicated directly to the NXT via bluetooth. I can't remember who it was that figured out how to do this, after most of us thought it was impossible, but it does work.
