Dear list, I tried to look this up a little on the (URL) site but could not find it easily: could you please tell me where I can find information or user feedback about use of the MSRS with the RCX? Is it a reasonable choice for fast prototyping and (...) (17 years ago, 19-Nov-07, to lugnet.robotics)

| | NXT Sumo - NXTize it all!
Some of us here in Indiana and surrounding areas recently got together for a "just for fun" sumo event. We didn't keep score, and in fact the goal was to use stock LEGO models as much as possible. We started out with making five copies of the #8275 (...) (17 years ago, 12-Nov-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

| | NXT Software Version 1.1

It looks like we will be purchasing an NXT when we visit Carlsbad Thanksgiving week. Now comes the question of software. The computer where we do most programming is a Vista Home Premium eMachine desktop. The computer where we play most is an XP (...) (17 years ago, 9-Nov-07, to lugnet.robotics)

| | BricxCC release 3.3.7.17
I posted a new official BricxCC release yesterday: 3.3.7.17. This release includes substantially improved help content for NBC and NXC as well as a built-in NBC compiler (beta 33). If you've been using the latest test release there isn't much new (...) (17 years ago, 6-Nov-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.nxt)

(...) There are step-by-step instructions for using the data logging feature of the NXT for measuring light level and similar experiments in the Extreme NXT book. | | RE: Datalogging with the NXT

(...) There was a TV show on the Discovery Channel or one of the other science channels a couple of years back on exactly this topic. It was one of the "kids do science things" type of show. They used some other logging device. Unfortunately I have (...) (17 years ago, 31-Oct-07, to lugnet.robotics)

| | Datalogging with the NXT
OK, I've got to admit that this isn't exactly "robotics". In fact, it must be about the smallest "robot" I've ever made, in that it was really just the NXT and a single sensor, with a few 3L pins and a studless beam to secure the sensor. But the (...) (17 years ago, 31-Oct-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Here is my last creation, a four-stroke pneumatic compressor. (URL) only special parts are the small pumps and the crankshaft pieces. This compressor can also be build up partly.
