(...) John, Thanks for your reply. Your suggestion was the first thing I did. We just found the problem with RCX. It was due to students adding sound to the robot with the line MuteSound(). I don't THINK it will be a problem (there I go, thinking again), The angle of the pictures makes it a little questionable, but if I remember the specs I saw on the US sensor, I don't think the area of sensitivity (...) Ok so today I just tried again (did nothing differently) and it all worked fine - cool! Connected PC to NXT, then ran the test prog from Eclipse and I was driving the NXT around the floor 5 seconds later. I suspect my problem was something to do (...) (19 years ago, 19-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)
