This is an interesting idea-- use a Palm (Ipaq's are to expensive!) in
place of the RCX. You'd still be stuck with IR for communications, but
it should be relatively cheap to build a breakout box to connect the IO
to, & a $100 palm should give many times the computing power that the
current RCX offers. And the Compact Flash slot offers some interesting
possibilities (GPS for example).
