Hi,
I finally found the time to put a web page up for the bots i built two years
ago:
http://www.lowpoly.com/lego/index.htm
First bot is a lego only vacuum cleaner bot on a 3 x 2 wheeled synchro drive
chassis.
The vaccum worked, the synchro drive only until errors accumulated, which
was soon, unfortunately.
Second bot is a chassis for a lawn mower, also with 3 two-wheeled platforms
but this time they are spring suspended. Just as a size ratio, this one uses
the wheels from the last super car.
Many pics, the page may take some time to load.
Stefan
PS: I remember I need a disclaimer concerning LEGO? Where would I find that?

| Hi Stefan, Very, very impressive! I am currently in the process of building a synchro robot. I must say they are probably one of the most difficult driving bases you can possibly build. There are many well designed synchros on the internet, but most (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) Wow! That is so cool! When I first got my RIS I thought of making a platform that could drag our Vacuum along with it but never got around of doing one. Your all LEGTO solution is great! To bad you had to make such a complicated platform for (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

| Thanks everyone for the comments. Iain: I know the offset solutions. Two wheeled seemed to be a lot more stable back then. Rob: Good stuff on your page. Do you thing BrickOS will read the rotation sensor faster? That might solve everything. BTW, I (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)
