Note the use of iffy friction in the rear by barely inserting an axle into a micromotor pulley: (URL) front wheels are offset from the vehicle's center line to counter the (...)   Hardware mods to the RCX
 
Ok, I'm interested in doing some hardware mods to a few RCX bricks to get better communication. So here are a couple of questions: 1. Has anyone published an actual schematic of the 1.0 RCX? 2. (...) Actually, I was hoping to leave the existing IR circutry in place and just switch it out when a cable is connected. That should give me backwards compatability. As far as the firmware, I expect to be writing my own code in Forth, so shifting (...) (22 years ago, 27-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics)
