Yeah - exactly.

Limiting the rotation like that would remove the very feature of this
mechanism that I need - the ability to escape (eventually) from any kind
of corner.

That might work - but it comes into the catagory of 'iffy' friction
adjustment! I'll give it a try.

Note the use of iffy friction in the rear by barely inserting an axle into a micromotor pulley: (URL) front wheels are offset from the vehicle's center line to counter the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics)
