I had only found a couple of those, the others look very useful.

Actually, I was hoping to leave the existing IR circutry in place and just
switch it out when a cable is connected. That should give me backwards
compatability. As far as the firmware, I expect to be writing my own code
in Forth, so shifting gears shouldn't be a problem. I used to be an
embedded systems programmer, so dealing with the H8 looks like fun.
