I have worked on many real-world carousel assembly machines, including one
that assembles 35mm film casettes and one for firearm cartridges.  You • sure
have captured the appearance of a carousel assembler!

Cool! My favourite kind of automation is where there are pallets or
interlocking carousels. It's a concept that really fascinates me.

You did that in under four hours?  What will you make when you get
serious?

It's only that I now have all my pieces sorted that I can do this stuff so
fast now. All of my time before was spent searching for parts. Now that I
can just grab a part from exactly where I know it is, stuff can go together
very quickly. I have used the gripper design (or something similar) many
times. A lot of the work is simply repetitious - like the grippers or the
two robots. The only real awful bit is all the mechanism going on
underneeth. I did lubricate it at work yesterday with some spray-on
silicone. I hope it doesn't damage my pieces, but the guy who gave the
bottle to me said it would be fine.

Keep up the good work!!!

I'll try :)
