The pins are 99% definitely unused.
To whoever tries this, good luck with that soldering iron.

| (...) I should clarify this before anyone breaks their RCX. The pins are 99% definitely unused. By the ROM driver. They might, however, be tied to Vss or Vdd, so make sure you don't short anything out if do attempt to solder something to the extra (...) (26 years ago, 21-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
