Doesn't that mean the ROM must have been changed? IIRC the RCX 1.0
could not do VLL...

| To continue on my own post... (...) ... (...) There are now three range settings - Short, Medium, and Long. Long is only possible if you plug the tower into a high-power USB port. I.e. plugging it into a non-powered hub or some laptops doesn't work (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jul-01, to lugnet.robotics)
