O.k., I've never had this happen before, and don't know why it's doing it now. A program as simple as: task main() { SetPower(OUT_A,7); OnFwd(OUT_A); } won't stop running after i hit the "Run" button on the rcx (1.5). Also, the little person in the (...) hi Lauren, you're quiet right, the inside of the RCX (in touch-sensor mode) is ok, and Ohm's law is also. So the problem lies probably in the sensor used. The cheap resistive pressure sensors are totally non-linear, more expensive sensors are full (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)

I have a Halogen uplight lighting a room and my solar cell will power a motor, with no load up to a distance of around '6 (3' work height) from the light pole. The photos were taken outdoors in indirect sunlight, with a Canon Powershot S20 3.34MP mounted on a Velbon tripod. Post-processing consisted (...) Definately agree on LegOS, my final year Computer Science dissertation was on autonmous learning on an RCX with genetic programming, I used LegOS 2.5, great stuff full C++ if you can do it in ansi you can do it here... But I'd say the best place to (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)
