In Creative Projects I make recommendations on line followers. One of them is to add a touch sensor that you can use as a trigger to grab the light levels of the line and the surface and store them in memory. Then you can use the average of those (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Ditto. I find this *INCREDIBLY* annoying - because this is the only one of over a dozen mailing lists that I'm subscribed to that works this way. What ends up happening is that people *don't* politely edit the 'To:' lines - instead they hit (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) DISCLAIMER: I've never tried this... I'd definitely avoid any kind of liquid lubricant. I'd guess that a dry graphite lubricant would work - the kind of thing that's recommended for lubricating door locks that comes with a nice thin nozzle to (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I don't think that's commonly available - I don't see it under either PINE or Netscape 4.x (the two mailers I use regularly). I did that on my oldest turntable : took it apart, thoroughly removed all dust and added a SMALL drop of silicone oil. Works fine since... Philo (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.robotics)
