Beyond discussing the theoretical usage potential of the Microscout, has
anybody actually build anything with it that really uses it for something
practical? Like other intelligent Lego bricks, it takes two button presses
to just power it up and start the program. That can be a major hassle and
reliability issue if you build a more complex system using multiple
battery-powered intelligent Lego bricks.

| (...) The most I've ever built with a Microscout (other than a couple of the R2D2 variants) was a six-legged alternating tripod walker ((URL) Furthermore, a standard 9V motor would function even better in that particular implimentation than the (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics)
