The Mindstorms touch sensor isn't a switch, but a sensor. You need an RCX or MicroScout to read it's status. It is not suited for directly switching a load like a motor. It can only carry a very small current, and still has a lot of resistance when (...) (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

PVC pipe cement is the easiest kind of glue to get hold of for gluing Lego bricks. It is "VERY" effective. Use a tooth pick to apply it - you don't need much! As far as axles and other axle related parts, they are made of something quite different - (...) (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

You can run about 2 motors off of one output (as the RCX goes into thermal shutdown at 500ma and each motor will (on average) draw 200ma at a stall). Sorry I can't help you with the device part, but (don't let this start flames) can't you just hook (...) (24 years ago, 9-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)
