Search (URL) page for a link related to DOS comms with CyberMaster. Bert van Dam had (still has?) somewhere in his site a source code of a QBasic program for DOS that he used for CM comms in DOS. It worked, I myself used it with an old i8086 (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi, I've written a small Visual Basic program so I can use Cybermaster under Windows 3.1x. (So I cannot use spirit.ocx.) Sending commands works (motor on/off, sound, etc.). But I don't get any echo. I cannot get any sensor data, and I can't see if (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

(...) I think it could probably work with the printr port. But what I would do is get a serial to printer port adapter or buy another wire which ever is cheapest. Hi, I asked this problem a few weeks (or months??? ... I don't know a what time ...) but nobody could help. I got the same following answer ".... the sensor takes 35 mA and this is to much for the RCX ..." but I couldn't understand this at this (...) Don't shoot me if i'm wrong, but this site seems to be mainly about heat and energy. There is a link about using the RCX with Borland C++. When you download the file, you get the information on how to do this (in english) frank "not much left to (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

I recently purchased an IR tower to use with my Scout. It did not come with a cable, but the tower was only 6$(www.eblok.com), so I found a cable that could plug into the back of it. The other end of the cable fit into the printer plug on the back (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Could you give some directive to the maximum size of it in 'bricks'?
