No, at least not yet. Charlie has discussed with me the *possibility* of
developing a library that other people could use to do IR communication
via the omniremote hardware. This would allow porting NQC to the Palm in
a meaningful way.

The Handspring Module:

Keep in mind that the handspring module only sends; The IR on the side
of the unit still does the receiving. With a little solder work,
however, you could run the strong IR sending LED to some other location.
The Omniremote Handspring Module also does X-10 communications; If you
could get bidirectional communication going with a visor with the
omniremote module your legos could turn lights on and off and so on (in
an X-10 equipped environment.) It would be awfully cool to be able to
have the model turn the lights on in a room it entered in which they
were off, so it could navigate, and turn them off again when it leaves
the room (if they weren't already on when it entered.)
