I've also had this dilema. They won't even let you *try* and run it. Quite frustrating. I've pretty much resigned myself to waiting for someone much brighter than me to get this thing to work with NQC. The directory is for the Quikcam software which (...) (...) For carpet, that cloth with those tiny plastic hooks migth work. Isn't it called "Velcroft" or something like that in Englisch ? We Dutch call it (translated) "Burdock ribon". There is a large rubber tyre about 1 3/4 inches diameter which comes with the Mindstorms stuff. Its a solid tyre and even though there's a lot of rubber, it's is fairly narrow and fits on the small sized yellow hubs. What I want to know is if there (...) Are there any good ways to produce TEMPORARY markings on large areas of floor surface (mainly carpet, some linoleum) suitable for line following robots, etc.? Someone suggested masking tape, but that wouldn't be good for long term usage (leaves (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Neither the Cybermaster box or the unit itself shows any evidence of the unit having FCC approvals. Unless they change this, which I doubt because it's an older product, I don't think it will ever be officially available in the US. Randall (...) (25 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Eric, I've noticed that some of the TRUs around here (Cleveland, Ohio) still have both versions on their shelf, and the 1.0 has a big sticker on it saying that you can get the software upgrade free.
