  Solenoid Pneumatic Valve

Hi Everyone: Chris Mango has put a couple of pictures on his web site if anyone is interested in seeing the teeny valve assembly. Thanks Chris. (URL) additional information for those who are curious....It's from a Parker Hannifin division called (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: My simple pneumatic switch

(...) Well, I came up with a simple design for a pneumatic switch: (URL) (25 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: My simple pneumatic switch

Remember that this holds most of the pneumatic stuff that does not move. If you only need one switch, then IMHO it is a very good switch/base. For more switches though, it could get a tad bulky. Andy (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: My simple pneumatic switch

(...) What a horrific amount of work to get ONE switch to 'switch'. Ugg... I think I'll have to look into them Fishertecnic electronic ones. Anyone have an update? Good job though, it does look robust and reliable. Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (URL) (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Old & New Motors: work output comparison???

(...) There is a good page about this here: (URL) his tests found that the the new 9V geared motor provides at least twice as much torque at a similar RPM. In practice, some pretty amazing torque can be obtained with either, and sometimes I favour (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Old & New Motors: work output comparison???

It's CRANE TIME ast Elwood & Bubbas' workshop. After a two year - hiatus, E & B are back at the drawing board, hard at work on their biggest crane ever. My quest is for performance measures of the old & new Lego motors: which one produces more work (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

  Solenoid Pnuematic Valve

I have finally found a tiny solenoid valve for use with the RCX. It fits into a 2x4 stud brick, and runs off one of the motor outputs. All I had to add was a resistor, a zener (the valve runs on 3 VDC), and a diode (reverse voltage stop). It's (...) (25 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Styling Pack

I got a couple of the power packs. One color theme of the styling pack is silver. The big panels are silver and so are the flexible rods and most of the flexible tubes.
