Re: Re Rafe Donahue's GBC binary counter

(...) Brian, Greg D spent a great deal of time manning the loop and did, as usual, a wonderful job. Steve H redid the train thing so that it went back-and-forth, instead of round-and-round. Personally, I think this turned out to be a much better (...) (17 years ago, 4-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Re Rafe Donahue's GBC binary counter

(...) I'll use this as a location to ask (for those of us who *couldn't* make it... this time...) how did the GBC in particular go? What were some of the new or innovative modules, and does anybody have GBC-specific pictures up as yet? (17 years ago, 4-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Robo Quad - Stage Ten - Project Completed

(...) Wait, what? You're retiring? Not from building, I hope. I've always enjoyed seeing your giant mecha creations and have often wondered how you can afford the parts to build them. :) (17 years ago, 3-Jul-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Re: Using the NXT with a GPS

(...) Perhaps Canada skips from the 3rd to the 5th every year. Maybe they just have a Sadie Hawkin's Day (1) every year to make up for it? -Rob www.lifelites.com (1) (URL) (17 years ago, 3-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Re: Robo Quad - Stage Ten - Project Completed

Hello Eric! congratulations to the biggest Lego Robot/Mecha on Earth! It is more like a robot than a Mecha the most people build. Amazing how great and long this Mecha is. Is there a pilot integrated? Construction dates only approx. 5 months? (...) (17 years ago, 3-Jul-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Using the NXT with a GPS

All, I've finally got around to updating my site with a detailed description of connecting the NXT to a Bluetooth GPS unit.   RE: Progressing from RCX to NXT

Did they use Robolab to teach at the summer camp? If so, he could also use it to program the NXT; just make sure you obtain Robolab 2.9 version which supports both RCX and NXT; version 2.5 is RCX only. -----Original Message----- From: (...) (17 years ago, 1-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: Adding a JTAG port?

(...) I used a JTAG tool in the beginning by glueing a JTAG connector manually. You could do that and perhaps have a look at section 4.3 in (URL) it is easier to use libnxt.   Adding a JTAG port?

Hi all, Do I need to add a JTAG port to develop an alternative runtime for the NXT? We did the RCX without this level of debugging, and the NXT is far more open.
