Hello Dan!
congratulations to the biggest Lego Robot/Mecha on Earth!
Thank you, it has come alive with much pleasure. (lol)
It is more like a robot than a Mecha the most people build.
I think so too, but it is just a kitty, not a mean beast. ;p
Amazing how great and long this Mecha is.
Thank you, it is long alright!
Is there a pilot integrated?
Yes in the head:
Construction dates only approx. 5 months? unbelievable!
I am glad it is over! I did prepare and sort Lego with my friends for at least 2
months prior to starting.
I look from time to time to the different staps.
Thank you, I am glad.
The ROBO QUAD is soooooo big, that man cannot understand all the building
technics only with the Fotos. A video for this giant is interesting.
I dont think it will fit in a car either!
Does it have another name?
The most Mocked MOC on the planet?
No just Robo Quad. Grok it.
I still love this picture:
How do you make this picture?
I used Photoshop.
First I made a selection of the Robo Quad, using various tools.
Then once the robot is isolated, I inverse the selection, and fill with black.
Then add the selection to the Mr. Jeeves photo as a layer. I reduce the opacity
and transform the size and distort the shape slightly, for each eye. Making a
shadow effect on Mr. Jeeves eyes. Like he is looking at it, like a band of
grokkers.

7 years of collecting black LEGO to prepare => CooL!
The origins of the Robo Quad came from the Super Mech Bot. I have waited for
years until I was ready to spend the time to build with all the black Lego I had
stored up, which I had intended to finish the Super Mech Bot with.
Mech Bay 13 - my last creation before I retire.
Thank you Dan, you have been a good friend.
yours,
Eric Sophie
