Hello everyone, I'm working on updating the instruction pages for Vision Command installation on XP and 2K. I used three sets of treaded chain links and 1x10 plates to make the tracks for a couple models. None of the plates ever came completely loose, but some of them would come loose from one of the three treads. Virtually all of the treaded chain links (...) At times I have experienced some issues wth using lnp; I was generally able to improve or elliminate the problem by increasing the packet_handler task priority... or lowering all other tasks to be less than the packet handler. I'm enough of a purist that I wouldn't ust non-lego treads, atleast I wouldn't go searching / buying a set. I am considering using a low temp glue gun to hold the 1x4 plates on. I did use a thin elastic cording on the inside of the conveyor links to (...) (23 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)

I never thought of using a low-temp glue gun. It does peal off nicely on smooth flat surfaces. I'll have to test it out! Could get messy on the back side of the plates and in the treads. (...) (23 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)
