(...) Yes, that ist normal. :) With gcc 3.0.3, you get these errors with the c++ demos. I haven't fiddled with it to get rid of those. Hi, I thought the cable was the key differwence. Vision Command's cable is way to stiff for most small robots applications. I've heard somewhere (probably Lugnet) that the Studio cam had a nice cable. Can anybody confirm? (23 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.robotics)

I have found (on laptops) if the machine goes into screen saver mode or a sleep mode the USB connections will not work properly when "live" again. I find USB ports to be less than advertised when it comes to external devices. -- Richard Clemens WV (...) (23 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Besides turning off virus scanning software (which shouldn't be necessary), make sure you have the latest update drivers for your computer hardware. If that doesn't work, then the problem is most likely a hardware resource allocation problem. Many (...) (23 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.robotics)
