I am using a mindstorms 1.5 (although it says "rcx 1.0" on the rcx. This model does not have a port to connect an external powersupply. Most of my projects do not involve portability/motion of the rcx so using a transformer would be fine to me. Has (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

hi John, the circuit looks very good, and far more easy (and understandable) then the circuit from Lego (cracked by yourself ;-) I'm using your modification of the Lego IR-tower with great pleasure. The normal range (without batteries) is about 60 (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi all, I'd like to build a radio controlled robot and I wish to connect a radio receiver normally used for model airplanes to the Handyboard so it can receive the commands I send from the transmitter, check for sensor and then activate servos that (...)
