Hello everyone. I've just developed a remote control for the RCX using the PIC16F877. It's very useful due to the fact that it does not need a computer, but still needs the ir tower (the serial one, sorry I'll try to adapt the project tu use the new (...) I've got 2 be honest: I'm new in LegOS, but I've had a similar problem. I decided to create a new project (inside de /demo dir) and I couldn't compile at the beginning, but I edited the file .depend and I copied the last section (the one for rover) (...) I got an RIS 2.0 for Xmas, and starting fiddling with it that night. It worked fine. I downloaded the firmware, and was able to download and run programs without problem... the software works fine as far as I can see. I am working with Win98SE on a (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Does anyone have a link to the parts supplied in the RIS 1.0 upgrade. I got the Ultimate Builders Kit for Christmas, but have RIS 1.0, when I tried to buy the 1.0 to 1.5 Upgrade I found Lego Shop at home no longer list it! I've ordered the RIS2.0 (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Dan, Thanks for hanging tough on this problem.....I'm feeling really inadequate on this one. I downloaded your revision of my program and it did not help. John, I have 105 of the Toshiba 68HC11's, and I use them in all sorts of products with great results. I don't think the chip is the problem either. Dan, My 68HC11 chip has the following numbers: TMP68HC11A1T-3 and is, in fact, labeled TOSHIBA. I have two of these chips and I've tried both of them with exactly the same result. Dan, Thank you for the suggestions. Like you, I tried removing the white space(s) and it did not help. Yesterday, I installed a new memory chip and a new 68HC11.....same problem. hmm, hmm... i really don't like win98. imho, m$ just added a lot of junk with no real advantages over win95. same thing even worse with win me. usb works fine on my win95 system (sr 2.1, win95b) with updated usb support. i'm now trying to "hack" the (...) John, I just loaded up your version of the code you posted, It worked fine on reset. I took out the white space just to see, and it worked fine too! I would say that your memory is bad or the lm2931 -5 is bad. Something is causing total reset (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jan-02, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
