Hi, you can see the firmware version of the file just b_e_f_o_r_e you load it into the RCX. This would spend a lot of time because every firmware download needs more than 4 minutes with normal download speed. In the newer versions the firmware (...) (24 years ago, 9-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Those sound like they might be firmware files. NQC expects the firmware to be in S-record format. Do all the lines begin with an upper case S and then have lots of hex digits? If so, they are probably firmware files. I'm not sure why there are (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Sorry you were disappointed. I decided to postpone the book for a year or so to wait for better market conditions.
