  Re: Nikon CoolPix 2100 Rating?

(...) Here's a link to the review from Steve's Digicams. (URL) in the market for a Digital Camera will want to check out the reviews there: it is my first stop when looking for a new camera.   RE: Nikon CoolPix 2100 Rating?

(...) Actually, I have the 990, which is one model earlier than the 995. Troy is using a Canon EOS D10 these days. I'm quite happy with all the features on my camera...manual/automatic focus, f-stop, shutter speed, white balance, flash, etc. The (...)   Re: Nikon CoolPix 2100 Rating?

(...) Bram, as well as Troy Cefaratti, both have the Coolpix 995, and I have the Coolpix 4500 (which is basically the 995's followup). They're the split-body design, and I love my camera dearly. They are more mid-to top of the line than the camera (...) (23 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.publish.photography, lugnet.space)

  Re: Nikon CoolPix 2100 Rating?

(...) My USB camera (Kodak DC4800) appears as a new drive in Windoze which is very convenient since I can use any file manager to get the photos out of the camera. So no need for any extra card reader there. I could also use the camera as file (...) (23 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: Nikon CoolPix 2100 Rating?

  Nikon CoolPix 2100 Rating?

I've finally decided to get with the 21st Century and purchase a digital camera. After doing quite a bit of reading at various sites, I think I've found the camera that will fit my needs. I'm looking for a camera around $200.00 that has at least 3x (...) (23 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: My wallpaper

(...) That is really cool. I have been meaning to do something like that myself. It would be cool if more people did stuff like that when showing MOCs. (even if it is just a plain starfield or something) -Mike Petrucelli (23 years ago, 15-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.publish.photography)

  Blockheads: Regular People, Amazing Creations

I'm constantly amazed by all the great things people build with LEGO. Our eclectic hobby is a rich and expressive nexus of art, science, and humanity.   Re: Better Color Balance with Lego Bricks

Re: Better Color Balance with Lego Bricks

(...) Hi Ray, How does having a color chart help provide a better color balance? Do you take pictures with the color chart in them, and edit it out? Or is it just a reference pic to help get the colors right when editing? Jeff J (23 years ago, 29-Jan-03, to lugnet.publish.photography)

Better Color Balance with Lego Bricks

For some time now, I've had issues with my dorky little Kodak digital camera (4 years old) and getting the color right on some lego ABS pieces when they are the only non-white color on a white background.
