Anyone in the market for a Digital Camera will want to check out the reviews
there: it is my first stop when looking for a new camera. The review does
note a macro-mode (close-up) of 1.6 inches, which is the kind of thing
you'll want for taking pictures of Lego. You'll probably find the 2100
adequate to your needs as long as you aren't trying to make 8.5 x 11 prints,
but read the review, they usually do a very thorough job. Hope this helps.

| (...) the cameras I have researched there -- and the lack of negative remarks makes me wonder about their conclusions. IIRC, the site is very closely linked to Ritz Cameras online. Makes one wonder... I figure you can't go wrong with some of the (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.publish.photography)

| I've finally decided to get with the 21st Century and purchase a digital camera. After doing quite a bit of reading at various sites, I think I've found the camera that will fit my needs. I'm looking for a camera around $200.00 that has at least 3x (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.publish.photography)
