Todd, I think these are all great ideas. I was actually thinking of suggesting something along the lines of what Eric has suggested in this thread (a photo station). I'm interested. In fact, I had an idea to share. I thought it would be cool to have a "MOC Stop" Folks wishing to have their MOCs photographed could stop by. We make a set up with a table, some background paper, lighting and a good Camera on a (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.publish.photography)

I've been thinking a lot over the past couple months whether I should give a talk on LEGO photography. Is there something like this already planned? I'm quite happy with all the features on my camera...manual/automatic focus, f-stop, shutter speed, white balance, flash, etc. The (...) (...) Bram, as well as Troy Cefaratti, both have the Coolpix 995, and I have the Coolpix 4500 (which is basically the 995's followup). They're the split-body design, and I love my camera dearly. I've finally decided to get with the 21st Century and purchase a digital camera. After doing quite a bit of reading at various sites, I think I've found the camera that will fit my needs.
