This is not really the best way to approach these things, since at a later
date you may want the photo at a higher resolution for, say, printing out.
IMHO the best thing is to always take your photos at the best possible
quality and resolution and reduce the resolution to exactly what you want in
an image editor such as Paint Shop Pro. I've done this for years and never
regretted it, and if you're worried about the images taking up too much
compact flash space, well, buying an extra CF card is cheaper than trying to
get a print quality version of a 640x480 image you'll never have the chance
to take a photo of again.
