(...) I think you can show good detail with an image of 80 to 120 KB, but it depends on the picture. Some look better/worse than others. On my website, I limit my big, detailed pics to 120 KB max. For some time we have been using a MichLUG logo (1) that has been sort of a placeholder until we can up with something better. Now is that time. We want a new, nice logo that will look great on a shirt. Something that will hold its own against the (...) (...) What he means is posting a link to the image on Brickshelf which can be viewed even before it is moderated. To do this, go to the page for the image (not the thumbnail/folder page) and right-click on the large image. Choose "Copy Image (...)
