  New Airline Promo

While going through the recent additions on Brickset.com, I came upon this discovery: (URL) I seeing correctly??? An actual plane, with actual airplane windows (not stickers)?? Also, a kid (short legs)!! This must be a sick joke from someone with (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.promo)

  LLCA Promo Brick Display

Our family really enjoys collecting the Duplo promotional bricks that Legoland California offers to annual pass members. I recently decided to find a suitable way to display the collection. Each pair of bricks is framed with a complementary color of (...) (20 years ago, 16-Apr-04, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.promo)

LLCA: You pick the design for a Duplo Commemorative Brick

Legoland CA has put up a page where you can vote on which ride you like to see featured on the September/October Commemorative Brick. They list all the rides and let you choose -- I just hope they will not repeat a ride like the Bionicle Blaster or (...) (20 years ago, 10-Apr-04, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.promo)

  A question about promotionals

Every now and then I hear about a LEGO-related set being offered as a promotional, but usually I find out when the promotion is already on-going or near it's end. Please forgive my ignorance, but is there a place where one can see announcements of (...) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-04, to lugnet.promo)

Re: Lego Playmobil-like figures at McDonalds

Re: Lego Playmobil-like figures at McDonalds

(...) Cool, I was wondering where the 1580 came from. It's been a while since I was 15 when I first got one, so I couldn't remember where I got it. Not in any of the S@H catalogs from that time period...just checked... --Dave (20 years ago, 8-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.promo, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Lego Playmobil-like figures at McDonalds

(...) I've also taken some pictures of this week's Clikits toy, as well. (URL) They are in this Brickshelf Folder here.> I'll make it a point to get the boy and girl toy each week and get pictures up of both. Also, I'm not sure how many different (...) (This is a repost of an identical message I sent to lugnet general. I should have sent it originally to lugnet.promo, as well, so that anyone who may be looking in there for reponses to this topic could also see the posst and view these images.) I (...)   Re: Lego Playmobil-like figures at McDonalds

(...) Do they come with coupons? I remember back in the 80's that the Happy Meals which contained small Lego sets, also came with a mail-in certificate. Send in a certificate and 3 UPCs from other Lego sets, and you got a free set in the mail. In (...) (20 years ago, 3-Mar-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.promo, FTX)

Re: 2004 LLCA Commemorative Brick Program

(...) I'm guessing there will only be 4 bricks for the 5 at 5 openings. Since one brick is Dino Island, I think that covers both Coastersaurus and Dig those Dinos (which open concurrently). But there could still easily be 8 or 9 bricks this year. (...) (20 years ago, 13-Feb-04, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.promo, FTX)
