Solider buckets and bucketing soldiers (was Re: Design your own 1000 piece tub)

(...) Maybe 'most people not in Tom's circle' :-) Richie's circle is rather impressive affair in my experience. Largely happy and open-hearted folks too. Go figure. Not so auspicious a circle as the inestimable Tom no doubt (perish the thought), but (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.pirates)

Now that's a bucket I would buy! Establishing a proper batallion would be *so* easy... one's head spins at the thought. I'd pull out some of the soldiers, add same cavalry and cannon with limbers, add same chrome breastplates and chrome helmets for cuirassiers, some bugles, flags and flagpoles...are there Lego drums? Well, let's see, you somewhat lambasted Tim Courtney for assuming he was speaking for the GP about Brickshelf, and now you assume for everyone else (as you have done before)... Hello all. Due to interest in a Pirates version of the VLC Brickwars game (a simply Brikwars like game soon to be released) I have been pulling all the pirate stuff out of a used collection I bought ages ago. Just noticed that organization did not show on posting, so "in the area" is pretty meaningless. "in the area" is Central Arkansas. Our LTC club house is in Jacksonville and we will be playing on the floor in the main room. Sorry for any confusion. (...) (22 years ago, 7-Dec-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  10040 Black Sea Baracuda

Wahooo!!! I finally got my lego 10040 Black Sea Baracuda (re-release). I have been wishing to be able to get the original set (6285) back in 1989, but I was not able to afford it back then.   Old Pirate's House

This is just an experiment in building houses etc with separate segments resting on tiles (as opposed to having the back of the building open).
